Sleepless in Manipal - A tale of friends, heart breaks and unsatisfied appetites.

I just guest posted at manipalblog.com.... Were you an early bird once upon a time. Have you turned into a nocturnal creature either by force or choice? Have your eyes chosen to be awake when all you wanted was a few winks of sleep? Is insomnia your new disease? Have you tossed and turned in your bed thinking about your broken heart? Have you gossiped your nights off or had fun night-outs? Have you faced the examination time when all the traces of sleeplessness disappear? The only time, when the loudest of the noises, and the brightest of the lights don’t matter anymore. All you see is an inviting bed and the tempting sheets. And before you know, your head hits the pillow and you sleep like a log!

Check the post out for more on - Sleepless in Manipal....!

Cheers :)

  1. read your post there..but chose to comment here!!

nice article....brought back memories of college.....one of my memorable moments was when i just plopped down due to exhaustion on my computer desk during my thesis time..after working non-stop without sleep for 5 days on that very desk(yeah without much as moving except for the loo)....

i guess..we look back to these very times in nostalgia....everything else just blurs!!

  2. Hmm reminded me of my hostel days during engg. It was exactly like you described n I think it still is and will always be for everybody in such situations. Its no more about studying, its all about socializing n getting on well with others. Truly the only time we can find peace is during exams and we mostly catch our zzzs during prep holidays. COme to think of it now, I feel like my scores would hv been better if I had chosen going up n down from home but also I wouldn't want to miss out on the whole experience.
