Storm brewing aroundShe stays still amidst chaosStuck in race of time
There's nothing worse than being stagnant, while everybody seems to be moving in a pace faster than ever. But then, a short stop in a long run could do good in hindsight!
This Haiku is written for the Haiku Heights. The prompt for the week is 'STORM'.
nice take :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes its better to stay still when the storm is busy devastating :) But getting stuck for a long time is definitely not good! Good Haiku :)
ReplyDeleteBeautifully conceived !!!
ReplyDeleteSometimes it is better to storm the storm too, when the storm feels at its weakest. So you won't be stagnant and reach a little ahead.
ReplyDeleteA short stop in a long rain could also do good! :)
ReplyDeleteStill the Storm
nice pic to show the frozen stagnation -- afraid of chaos
ReplyDeleteI like that last line...almost a contradiction too ~
ReplyDeleteThis image of an instance of stillness in what is otherwise chaos is quite moving. Thank you for this, and thank you for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteoh.. I can imagine how frustrating it can be... to stop when everyone is moving...

ReplyDeleteMaintain sanity in an environment of chaos. That probably is true in many situations. Sadly it's not easy to counter. Nicely Pranita!

Standing still in the midst of chaos sounds calming, centering. I like that idea!
ReplyDeleteAh, being still can often be a bind.
ReplyDeletelove it ! quite good to stop and watch the race..
ReplyDeleteThere's some benefits in just being still and letting things around you pass by. As long as we don't pause too long, we'll never feel left behind but actually renewed and revitalized.
ReplyDeleteStuck in race of time - that is a wonderful line. Perhaps because time actually doesn't exist outside of a little "gadget" in our brain.
ReplyDeletenice... :)
ReplyDeletenicely done.. love the stuck in the race of time
ReplyDeleteStaying still amidst chaos - I like that. I've been bored with corny drama lately.
ReplyDeleteWhat if storm doesn't let you stay still, It will eventually catch up and rob you off your stillness! very thought provoking haiku
