Dripping dull moments
Heavy breath near cold fireplace
Coal turns blue pain red
Bottled pain is just another name for burning fire. Extinguish it before you get engulfed into it.
This Haiku is written for the Haiku Heights. The prompt for the week is 'PAIN'.
wonderful!! 'bottled pain is another name for burning fire', wow..! the haiku is brilliant in terms of the word play, but the annotation was simply brilliant in expression.

ReplyDeletePranita,
ReplyDeleteI'm affiliated with a new National Pain organization that is not up on the web yet. (I'm not paid!)
With permission I would like to send them your Pain Haiku as they are interested in using creative expressions in promos and/or the site itself. However, I need written permission.
If you give permission send me an e-mail at judithwesterfield@gmail.com with a cut-n-paste of the haiku you are giving permission for and whether if you want your name attached or want to remain anonymous.
I believe your haiku is very strong.
This one's beautiful--especially delightful on a cold winter's night :)
ReplyDeleteBottled pain is a long lasting sufferer. True, Pranita! Rid off it fast!
