Flavors of experience.

Bittersweet moments
Flavors of experience
Recipe of life

Tired eyes still sharp
Fickle past to strong present
Locked by aging bones

Tasting fruits of past
Counting all blessings received
Hungry happiness

They say, 'As you sow, so shall you reap'. Everyone wishes for a happy peaceful old age. It depends on us how we make it. If we collect good blessings on our journey, we'll sit back someday and count them with content. Else, we'll be left at the hands of age, hungry for happiness!

This Haiku is written for the picture prompt provided by The MAG. Also written for The OSI and The Haiku Heights. The prompts for this week are 'FICKLE' and 'LOCK' respectively.

Fickle mind - The erratic culprit!

 Fickle minded folks
Locked in own uncertainty
Bunch of keys invite

They find routes to fled
Escape always possible
Erratic culprit

Indecisive mind
Running around in circles
What is the way out?

There are times when we wonder how other people know exactly what and how to do. We often find ourselves in a spot when it comes to deciding things. May it be important life decisions or something as simple as choosing an ice cream flavor. Fickle mindedness is one of the biggest problems some of us face. It's not that we cannot find solutions, we find so many solutions that it's difficult to decide which one to go with. We find ourselves staring at more than one roads at every crossroad, ending up running around in circles. Sometimes we just have to go with our gut instincts when logic doesn't help!
