Do and think not.. Think, then do!

 Moments of past joy
Hovers over present gloom
Nostalgia seeps

Bundle of sweetness
Precious memories bring smiles
Beautiful bubble

Love for past
Present mistakes haunt
No closure

Do and think
Repent regrets, so,
Think, then do!

This Haiku is written for the Haiku Heights. The prompt for this week is 'JOY'.

  2. Beautiful bubble is what appealed to me too. Doing is just as important as thinking. Happy HH!

    1. Thank u Hazel... doing is very imp.. but it should always be the second step... sometimes we do things in haste that we shouldn't have! So i personally feel we gotta think before we act! :)

  4. Good ones, Pranita. Did you know that it is taking at least 5 minutes to load your blog? I had given up and gone to another one before it emerged on my screen? I only have this problem with black background blogspot blogs.

  11. I wonder if that nostalgia is always better than the present gloom.. it gets a desire for past rather than present of future :) Thoughtful and thought-provoking.

    1. The joy of the past always brings u a smile in troubled present times. But u can't live there... otherwise the present gloom will be somethng to repent in future where it's going to be the past!

  20. Beautiful!!

there are always these patches which separate two different shades of nature. land and ocean. the part wet, part dry patches near the coasts. We come from land, to take a dip in the water, our first taste of it comes from this very patch. while we try getting back to the warm land from the water, the same patch gives us the taste of what it is like on the other side. like a link, between that and this. some like the coldness of the water and some the warmth of the solid ground. and in this patch come questions in head, " am i ready for what is to come? "
And there shall one be really tested.
    love for the past,
    present makes mistakes,
    no closure.

wonderful! loved it! as always! ( where's your after-the-poem inspirational text ?)
