Aloha lover boy
Aloha - the word used in Hawaii, both for meeting and parting! Always found it fascinating somehow, and very very positive. So when they say goodbye, is it like a hello in advance for yet another meeting? Like a hopeful exclamation that says - 'It's not goodbye yet, we'll meet again!' .........???
This Haiku is written for the April A2Z Heights at Haiku Heights.

ReplyDeleteAloha and Aloha to you :) Enjoyed your Haiku and tomorrow is another day after all!! :)
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful...the word appears to be coined by mixing Aha & lo!! Both exclamations of joyous surprise.. I like it Pranita.. Aloha!!!
ReplyDeleteIn like your meditation on aloha...it would be good if hello - which sounds similar - were used in a similar way.
ReplyDeleteSo love the image of "umbrella summer song"! Lovely haiku!
ReplyDeleteAloha is hello and goodbye so that works for the evening sn the morning.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your haiku. I've heard that Aloha also has a spiritual meaning - like a connection of mind and spirit.
