Run the length of kite!

Spread wings high above
Capture tiny world essence
Run the length of kite

Over clouds, grounded
Look up to colored faces
Winds teach true free flight

We learn from a kite to soar high up, but still remain grounded! Reach your goal, live your success.. but not at the cost of forgetting where you started, amongst whom you started. With your head amongst the clouds, let the heart be where it belongs... down to earth!

This Haiku is written for the Haiku Heights and the OSI. The prompts are 'TRUE' and 'KITE' respectively.

Longing luscious hair
Dreaming the beautiful life
Make peace with the Dove

  5. Kites do capture an essence of a tiny world -- there is so much magic in the imagined view from a kite, the rustle of the paper, the tug of the string, and the tiny upturned faces. Great job!

  11. To be grounded in flight. Quite the feat. Birds do it so naturally.
I really enjoyed where you took the prompt. Kites are a wonderful study in allowing the soul to soar while keeping heart connected.
