Quest of the unknown.

 Quest of the unknown
Unfulfilled without support
Deeper pit to dig

Stretch my horizon
Helping minds make healthy hearts
Love's abundant forms

Start from single scratch
Flag hoisted after struggle
Journey is cherished

I just returned after an amazing experience from a week long trip to Jammu & Kashmir. So i apologize for not having been able to drop by your posts the past week. It has been a trip that let me do what i do the best. Think! And i should tell you, thinking in a beautiful, serene place brings in beautiful thoughts. I dedicate this Haiku to all the people who supported me since i started this blog. I would never have had the courage to go on if not for all of you. Your valuable inputs and love has helped me in my quest.

This Haiku is written for the Haiku Heights. The prompt for this week is 'SUPPORT'.

  1. Life as a journey, as an adventure to seek the unknown, is incomplete without someone by your side supporting us. I like that thought, and find it true.

I think that first one speaks on its own. The other two aren't really necessary at all. :)

  2. "Quest" and "Journey" in your poem proves what a great time you had in that heavenly state :-)

Anyways, your haiku is too good. Starting from scratch, and winning, I love the message... In fact I have been following all your posts, and you write superb :-)

Good for you, Pranita! It would be fun when successful after a struggle. Certainly worth the efforts! Nice verse!

  13. "Quest of the unknown,Unfulfilled without support". I think that this can be considered a good Saying. I tend to consider this a short poem and not haiku because haiku has other criteria. The first stanza serves as the opening stanza which introduces the subject which is the quest of the unknown. The second stanza serves as the body
which states the conditions that make this quest succeed: Helping minds, healthy hearts and love expressed in many ways. The circle of the quest begins from the zero (Start from single scratch ) and ends with a remarkable success(Flag hoisted after struggle)and self satisfaction(Journey is cherished).
After reading your comment, I felt that the quest which was in your mind while writing this lovely short poem is THE WRITING JOURNEY. The supportive friends are the HH members. Enjoyed reading:))
