Old pages invite prying eyes.

Courtesy

Old rustling pages
Blowing off dust gathered since
Cry for attention

Washed by boredom
Patience, a thing of the past
Wanting some action

Hidden answers scream
Purpose needs to be achieved
Invite prying eyes

Be an old forgotten dusty page for a moment, wouldn't you wish someone read you too ???! Company is always a welcome. As time passes, and people get lonely, they begin trusting people too soon, just to have a companion. They confide too soon, open themselves up. Some get lucky, while others... well, there are a lot of cheating cheapsticks ready to take advantage. Be careful before you reveal your hidden side!

This Haiku is written for the picture prompt provided by The MAG and for The OSI whose prompt for the week is 'WANTING'.

  2. We need to be careful whom we open to! There are a lot of negative people waiting to take advantage, that's true but then that should not stop us also from opening up to people who are meaning good!
    Well written Pranita!

  7. A lovely, lonely biding, poem, Pranita. :)
To me without the picture what comes to mind is a lonely, elderly person sitting a wheel chair by his or her nursing room door; waiting for someone to push her or him to somewhere for fufilling a purpose long forgotten.

  8. i think it is rather neat to find old notes, to see through the eyes of the writer into a situation we may not know or remember...i think there are def inspiration there as well...smiles...i agree though that there are those that will take advantage of you out there for sure...
